Easy Miso Salad Dressing

This easy miso salad dressing is sweet and salty and packs a huge umami punch. Enjoy it in a simple salad or on a more elaborate warm salad or power bowl.

Ingredients
  • 4 tbsp White Miso Paste
  • 4 tbsp Lemon Juice (*)
  • 4 tbsp Water
  • 4 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 1/2 tbsp Sesame Seeds
Instructions
  1. Add all of the dressing ingredients in to a jar or bowl.

  2. Then shake or whisk to incorporate all of the ingredients.
  3. Taste and adjust flavors until they are balanced.
  4. Enjoy on a simple mixed greens salad or on a more elaborate salad!
Note
  • * You can substitute the lemon juice for any citrus (lime, orange, etc.) . Here we used lime juice because it was what we had on hand.
  • This recipe is ratio based and once you remember that then it is easy to scale the recipe up or down depending on your needs. 
  • We highly suggest adding a pinch of MSG at the end because it helps pumps up the umami flavor.
